Focusing on the workplace as a venue for LGBT*IQ engagement makes sense in two ways:
With close to 46 million people, the workforce in Germany represents a little over half the total population. To start making changes here increases the chances of reaching as many people as possible. What’s more, an open company culture doesn’t remain restricted to the respective company – it flows on from the workplace into everyday life, society, politics.
